Larry Lenamon II, founder of Longhorn Aero, is a 35 year veteran pilot and aerospace engineer. He currently flies a Boeing “product” for a major US airline. In between moving the heavy metal, Larry zooms around in his bright yellow Van’s RV7A, a “Light-Sport on steroids” as he calls it, and works on his LSA business. The Longhorn Aero hangar is located at Denton Enterprise Airport [KDTO], TX.
He is a longtime member of the Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association [AOPA] and Experimental Aircraft Association [EAA] and is actively involved in the local KDTO EAA Chapter 661. Larry is married with three children and resides in the DFW Texas region.
